STUDENT INCENTIVES AND SPECIAL
OPPORTUNITIES DURING 2026 JOINT CONFERENCE

Organizers of the 2026 Joint Annual Conference in Wenatchee, WA have included several opportunities that may be of special interest to students.  These include:

  • Free registration for students who sign up to volunteer for four (4) hours during the conference
  • Reduced registration fee for non-volunteering students at one-third of regular registration rate. ($100 rate for early- bird, $125 for non-early bird)
  • Free Banquet dinner. The banquet is included for all registrants this year so join us Wednesday evening at no additional cost
  • Travel grants to help cover lodging costs. Priority will be given to students presenting at the conference, but all are encouraged to apply. 
  • Drop in resume review - Throughout conference. Check at registration for table location.
  • Free Continuing Education Workshops and Field Trips – Monday all day
  • Welcome Reception and DEI Social - Monday evening
  • Student Poster Session with award and recognition for best poster - Tuesday evening 
  • Breakfast with a Professional - Wednesday morning. Free hot breakfast with the chance to connect with professionals in a casual setting for mentoring and networking
  • Chapter Business Lunch- Wednesday. Join the leadership team for a free lunch and learn about the business end of the State Chapter. Great networking opportunity!
  • Spawning Run and Carcass Crawl - Wednesday evening. Join us for a 5k fun-run along the Wenatchee Riverfront. Additional $25 cost at registration is required but includes a commemorative T-shirt
  • Ad hoc discussions throughout the Conference (just introduce yourselves)!
