Chapter Elections

A critical part of any organization is its leadership. The leadership of the Washington Chapter of The Wildlife Society is comprised of volunteers including those that serve on its Executive Board (EB). Serving on the EB is a great way to support the Chapter and its members, and an excellent opportunity to apply your leadership skills while growing your professional network in Washington State and the PNW region.

The EB is comprised of 6 Officers and 4 At-Large positions
Presidents serve a 4-yr term that begins as Vice President and progresses each year through the 4 positions (see below). Information about the duties and time commitments of each position can be found here.

Immediate Past President (1-yr)
President (1-yr)
President-Elect (1-yr)
Vice-President (1-yr term, elected each yr)

- Secretary (2-yr term, elected in even yrs)

- Treasurer (2-yr term, elected in odd yrs)

Board Members At Large

- Position 1 (2-yr term, elected in odd yrs)
- Position 2 (2-yr term, elected in even yrs)
- Position 3 (2-yr term, elected in even yrs)
- Position 4 (2-yr term, elected in odd yrs)

Our next elections will be held in Spring 2025!

The open 2024 positions are:

Vice President (4-yr term progression)

Treasurer (2-yr term)

Two board members at large (2-year terms each)
