*Regular Affiliated - Wildlife professionals supporting wildlife science, management and
conservation affiliated with WATWS, SNVB, or NWPARC.
New Professional - Graduates of a full-time, college-level wildlife or directly-related curricula & who have <3 years employment experience in the wildlife profession.
Student - Full or part time students in college, secondary, or elementary education programs.
Retired - Individuals who are retired from full-time employment.

Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Requests for registration cancellation and related refund are discouraged but will be considered for reasons related to extenuating health issues, work, or family matters (e.g., illness, death in family, altered work assignment, change in agency support, other arguably extenuating circumstances outside control of the registrant).
A registration may be transferred to another person qualifying for the category of registration involved.
Any allowed refund will exclude $25 to cover processing fees related to the initial registration and a subsequent refund.
Requests for cancellation/refund consideration shall be submitted to treasurer@watws.org no later than 15 March, 2025 with an explanatory message stating the reason(s) for the request.

Generally, cancellation refunds after 15 March 2025 are less likely due to financial commitments made to the venue after that date. Decisions by the WATWS Treasurer in consultation with the Joint Meeting Steering Committee are final.
